I currently impact lives through 2 passions: 1) as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA) & 2) my indie music company. As a PTA I work primarily w/ special needs kids but I also have experience w/ the geriatric population & Orthopedics since 1997. In 1996, I began my professional music career as a recording artist with Houston's 1st Latin pop/ boy group "PHAZE 3", which parted ways in the Fall of 2003. As managing partner I created a buzz for my group including developing our website in 1999 with our music "Streaming" on homepage! During the release of Phaze 3's debut CD, I was also A&R/songwriter for an indie label & involved w/ the release of the label's 1st artist. I received the opportunity to complete my music biz internship with Beyonce's/Destiny's Child former management/label. In the spring of 2004 & in memory of my parents, I officially launched Roland Ent.(In 2014 rebranded as R Music Projects) with emphasis of artists/brand development & social impact. My first artist, teen hip-hop artist Baby Jay, received some national attention for his innovative hip-hop/rap movement. I also manage the career of up coming Latin pop/soul artist David Enriquez who recently completed his debut EP with the support of talented Grammy award winning producers. On May 4, 2007, I produced the first of a kind "Perfect Attendance Concert"® in the country which concerts have received media coverage & on May 16th Baby Jay became the first rapper & youngest in USA history to receive the Key to the City of Houston or in the country. I am a voting member of the Latin Grammys & Grammys. And I have been invited by the Grammys to speak to college students. I am currently working on expanding my efforts and have partnered with a top energy company, colleges and non-profits to connect their message to their audience through Baby Jay.
