Director Of Programs And Operations (Consultant)
On the EMA team, I helped to lead a dynamic strategic planning process, building out the mission and vision of the newest iteration of the organization. Our work led to organization-wide clarity on priorities for spending and how to best approach FY23; and led to the first full-scale website in the organization's 21-year history. I was also selected by Exponent Philanthropy to participate in their 2023 Next Generation Fellowship, an exclusive program for emerging leaders.
Associate Director Of College Counseling
During my time at MA, I supported the college counseling team through several initiatives, including overseeing tuition assistance programming and budgets, 12th grade college support classroom planning, introducing traveling college tours, and the implementation of new technologies.
College Counseling Director & Spanish Teacher
During my time at Post Oak, I led the development and execution of all aspects of the high school's college counseling program. The school touts a unique combination of a challenging International Baccalaureate curriculum in an adolescent Montessori environment. My ability to forge strong relationships with students in this space was enhanced by time spent teaching many of them in beginner, intermediate, and upper-level Spanish language courses.

Events Intern
During my time in the office of events at Earlham College, I served as a direct support to the Director of Events, Lynn Knight. In this role I helped lead the planning and arrival of artists on campus, including reviewing artist riders, preparing their green rooms and suites, and transporting artists and speakers around Richmond and on campus during their visit. I also coordinated student volunteers who served backstage, in security, and in promotion and marketing. Prior to this role, I was the student chair of the Program Committee, working directly with the Director of Student Activities to decide which acts should appear on campus, and managing a budget of up to $100,000 USD.
Volunteer Facilitator - Indiana Peacebuilding Program
In my time with the American Friends Service Committee, I was granted the opportunity to lead independent work and advance aspects of local, regional, and national projects. As an example, I co-led a media workshop on 'demilitarization and alternatives' for high school students at the 2013 Gathering of the Friends General Conference. While there, we AFSC staff members collaborated with the youth to address federal spending issues that mattered to them, as well as present creative alternatives to those issues through video media. Relatedly, I contributed largely to the redesign of the website for the national AFSC film festival that works with youth around similar demilitarization issues.
