My professional experience within the program ranged from environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, site assessment, site investigation, development of monitoring programs, underground storage tank removal, and remediation system design and installation services. I have provided sole technical oversight for a high-resolution site characterization on a commercial property which formerly operated as a retail petroleum facility. The high-resolution site characterization technology utilized a membrane interface probe hydraulic profiling tool (MiHpt) to investigate the mass of petroleum hydrocarbon and chlorinated solvents in the subsurface as a function of depth and determine subsurface soil physical properties. The high-resolution site characterization technology utilized a membrane interface probe hydraulic profiling tool (MiHpt) to investigate the mass of petroleum hydrocarbon and chlorinated solvents in the subsurface as a function of depth and determine subsurface soil physical properties. Following the characterization, I coordinated with an in-situ remediation contractor to plan and implement the injection of a carbon-based slurry to targeted areas of the subsurface. I prepared regulatory notices and reports to document the results of assessment and remedial activities at the site. Both commercial properties were privately-owned and required significant levels of interfacing and negotiating with the landowners to proceed with the assessment and subsequent remedial work. I conducted post-injection groundwater monitoring in accordance with the state approved work-plan and reported compliant post- injection groundwater monitoring results in the areas treated. Show less
