STEM Coordinator and educator providing curriculum where students explore project-based innovation and entrepreneurship endeavors in real world events. Conceptualized and implemented a computer science camp that provided under represented high school students with employable job skills necessary to compete in a technology rich workplace.Conceptualized and implemented STEM curriculum that engaged middle and high school students in computer programming and introduced pathways to computer science degrees and careers including web site designer and computer science engineer. Established an induction system at a Title 1 school that focused on developing students with computer science knowledge and skills resulting with high school student leaders mentoring their middle school counterparts in game development, html, and coding. Benchmarked video game development and created a video game curriculum pathway for secondary students that meets industry needs. Established partnerships with Lauderhill Police Department, Broward Education Foundation, American Express and Oracle to bridge authentic job related experiences with computer science skills with underrepresented secondary school students.Aligned game development and computer science curriculum with relevant 21st century needs including energy sustainability, water conservation, agricultural resources, and financial responsibility. Facilitated a computer science program for secondary students where key performance indicators were met through wining national, regional, and local STEM events including Loft Fellowship Challenge, Congressional App Challenge, and NAACP South Florida ACT-SO competitions. Presented computer science topics including Girls and Coding, Developing Minecraft Student Leaders, and Podcasts for Professional Development for ISTE webinars and technology conferences.
