As a dedicated educator and non-profit professional, I am passionate about creating and implementing innovative programs that provide opportunities for people with disabilities or other barriers to achieve their full potential. With extensive experience in program development and management, case management, budgeting, curriculum design, team management, and outreach and partnership building, I look to provide opportunities for others at every turn. I currently serve as the Director of Employment Services for Work Now Hawaii in Honolulu, HI.My previous experience as an Business Development Manager, Employment Specialist, Resettlement Intern, Adult Education Instructor, and Service and Operations Manager has equipped me with a diverse set of skills, including digital literacy training, program development and administration, operations management, and staff oversight.I hold a Master of Arts in International Development from St. Mary's University of Minnesota, where I graduated Summa cum laude, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northern Illinois University. I am also a member of APSE Emerging Leaders and the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators. In addition, I have volunteered as an Educator with the United States Peace Corps and have done my time as a bartender and server.
