Failed startup. Found Tempus and decided to to put rdev Works on hold.

I worked closely with the Executive Vice President and SnapShots department to provide updates to report definitions, PDF automation, and website content. My contributions involved HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, PHP's mPDF library, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL.I showed outstanding dedication to my work throughout my employment and desired to learn full-stack LAMP development and web hosting. Still, a growing backlog of priority tasks and my early departure prevented me from completing my training.

Web development and maintenance was my primary task while assisting network administration and helpdesk as necessary. The Senior Developer introduced their custom PHP MVC framework to the environment, and I decided to learn and apply it to rebuild the company website. Session and form handling with PHP were essential components, and I had the additional challenge of Search Engine Optimization with limited tools, GDPR compliance, and establishing a cookie consent policy. I developed the site's frontend with HTML, CSS, the Bootstrap CSS framework, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX. The backend involved OOP with PHP using the MVC framework, cURL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL; I also designed the related PostgreSQL database schema.

I successfully managed network administration, helpdesk, and web development in an IT team of five; for a company of fifty employees.I aided the Senior Developer and Graphic Designer in developing a single-page synchronous web application for an internal URL redirect service, or "Link Shortener," which became a critical component of data entry and client communications. We improved upon the original system, allowing for customization and the creation of password-protected downloadables. I wrote HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and SQL queries. To make the site synchronous, we used AJAX requests to communicate with PHP. I also designed the PostgreSQL database schema with the help of the Senior Developer.I also developed a handful of creative solutions to improve business processes, particularly with Quality Control of the data entry department. For example, I wrote a file transfer script with VBScript and used Windows IExpress to create an executable program. It transfers end-of-day image files, in proper numerical sequence, with checks for acceptable dpi ranges and erroneous files; this vastly eased the QC team's workload while masking the image repository's network path.During this time, I was responsible for bringing the company to compliance through a Microsoft Audit; I researched software requirements and worked with the IT Director to purchase the software required to upgrade Microsoft Windows Servers, the Exchange Server, and the Microsoft Office package.

Apart from various network administration and helpdesk tasks, I worked with the Senior Developer and a fellow Intern to learn how to develop and manage source files of web applications on a Linux web server. Together, we developed an application for displaying VM Host information, read from an Excel worksheet using the PHP library, PHPExcel. We then calculated unallocated memory for each VM host.I contributed to both ends of the application using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery's DataTables API, and PHP. We later updated the backend to fetch the data from PostgreSQL, removed the Excel worksheets, and further calculated assigned memory versus in-use memory.

I sorted domestic and international mailings, entered medical marketing material into a database, and improved the image quality of scanned documents with Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
