The primary goal of this part-time effort was to help IT communicate the need for a cohesive and centralized Data Strategy which would allow IT to operate more efficiently. As a Data Architect, Ryan worked on several different projects at FindLaw. On all of these projects, Ryan promoted proper Data Architecture tenets which helped to ensure greater cohesion of data throughout the FindLaw technical ecosystem. As an example, Ryan was embedded in an AppDev project responsible for the creation of a new enterprise scheduling system. In this Role, Ryan promoted a consistent use of enterprise Data and worked with the team to establish a data model consistent with this goal. This work actually began while Ryan was under employment with Fujitsu consulting starting in late 2006. Upon Ryan's departure from Fujitsu, he retained Secure Computing as his primary client as an independent contractor. Ryan designed and constructed Secure Computing's Data Warehouse as well as implemented Business Objects XI as the primary reporting tool.
