As a Clwstwr Co-Investigator I have directly supported 20+ R&D projects with companies from the across the screen sector (film, TV, animation & games) in Wales. This ranges from supporting the management team by providing specialist advice during the applications process. Subsequently working with successful applications, supporting their R&D projects, which have included: 3D real-time animation pipeline, interactive experiences for ACE support, delivery of virtual production techniques for low-budget interactive film, video game charitable platform, web3/blockchain pets and an interactive movie distribution platform.

Managing a team of 15 academic staff, across 8 business management and marketing undergraduate courses. Oversight of operational delivery, resource management and student satisfaction. This was an interim post, prior to an institutional restructure.

Working with a consortium of companies (Tiny Rebel Games, Sugar Creative and Potato), and in partnership with Aardman, USW collaborated on this fast-moving cutting-edge mixed reality demonstrator project - The Big Fix Up. I was directly involved in providing guidance and support in the delivery of audience research and user testing. Facilitating interaction with the USW students, developing and implementing an internship programme to support the project partners.
