I have obtained a PhD degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, in June 2020. The PhD thesis titled "Semantic Segmentation of Television News Broadcast Videos" involved the development of a system for automatic segmentation of TV news broadcast. A total of 15 papers related to the thesis were published in various international conferences and journals. I am currently a senior researcher at AllGoVision Technologies, Bangalore (joined in September 2017). I am primarily responsible for (a) conceptualization, architecture design and development of various single and multi-camera video analytics applications; (b) development of computer vision algorithms and models for various use cases; (c) adapting state-of-the-art technologies for various machine vision applications to create product differentiation andsatisfy the business needs; (d) evaluating the technical feasibility of solutions for variousreal-life use cases requested by customers. Also working as a Course Lecturer/Mentor for “Certification Course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” run by Electronics and ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati and Imarticus Learning. Conducting lectures on data balancing techniques, support vector machines and convolutional neural networks for multiple batches. My research interests include Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence and Multimedia / Multisensor Data Fusion Techniques.
