I love having meaningful conversations with people. I enjoy learning through experiences more rather than figuring out all on the first go. I was born and raised in Guwahati, the only city in the northeastern part of India. The beautiful landscape, rivers and mountains of the northeast have been my first love when it comes to thinking about a place for vacation. I am a guy who travelled to more than 6 other different countries for leisure as well as for work but every time I landed in India, that soothing tune of Shehnai from the movie Swades started playing in my mind. So, the decision to settle down in India wasn't that hard. The city of Bangalore is my home away from home.Started my engineering education as a student of Civil Engineering. But developed more interest towards computer programming & hence took up the opportunity to shift to Information Technology from the 2nd year onwards at NITK Surathkal. Since then I have learnt and worked with loads of technologies, many have become obsolete but the core principle of software development still persists.I have experience working in product-based software development firms for more than 12 years with a proven history of grooming, planning, software development, team building and mentoring. Have been fortunate to be part of many successful teams developing products for various domains.I like getting involved very early on during backlog grooming, planning and estimation of software development. So far my technical abilities include HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap, React, NodeJS, Java, Spring, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Scala, Python, Sql, Druid, mongoDB, Azure, Salesforce, Jenkins, Github under my belt. I believe in picking up technology to solve specific business needs. My recent interaction with Python made me quite impressed with this powerful language.The domains that I have worked in so far include bill payment, sales revenue & compensation management, big data analytics, Edtech, Virtualization and remote desktops. I have had the experience of running my own company which was in beauty retail space for a brief interval.I am currently pursuing my MBA in Enterprise Management at IIM Bangalore. I wanna take up the challenges of leading an organisation to its success story someday!
