Serves in the capacity as the chief data officer for the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) and the Batten School of Coastal & Marine Sciences by leading the development, organization, and implementation of the data and analytics infrastructure. This position enhances analytics & research capabilities, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making processes through advanced data management and analytics services.

• Design & implement data products focusing on machine learning and natural language processing.• Provide analytic services to optimize efficiency and utilization for clients.• Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
