Wrote and edited microcopy, labels, CTAs, instructions, error messages, and process flows as part of a seamless UX/UI design system to ensure maximum user functionality, satisfaction, and trust in the product. Created an extensive documentation system, including comprehensive narratives, illustrations, and training materials for clients, implementation teams, management, developers, and support personnel. Collaborated with product, engineering, treasury, compliance, and operations teams to better understand and explain details related to product features, timelines, resources, testing, and security requirements.

In 2016, Deephaven Data Labs was a fintech start-up focused on gleaning insight from massive datasets of historical and live time-series data. Company founders were genius-level practitioners with decades of quantitative, mathematical, and computer science experience. As the firm's seventh employee, I was recruited to translate, create, organize, and compile exceptionally complex technical information into easily understandable instructions and short videos that demonstrated key points of the software. Starting with scant content on an internal Wiki, I generated all original software documentation after interviewing the firm's founders, software engineers, and DevOps personnel.

Was instrumental in key marketing and change management efforts during HP's corporate legacy of acquisitions and spin-offs. Following the corporate split of HP and HPE in late 2015, I was charged with directing the creation of a new online presence for HPE Services content on www.hpe.com. Provided in-depth content development and project management across both organizations and stakeholders while garnering executive collaboration and buy-in. Managed information architecture, taxonomy, and content strategy, while coordinating input from content owners and creative/technical resources. Reviewed site analytics to improve SEO; partnered with external vendors to enhance SEM. Prior to the split, I was responsible for online and interactive marketing communications for the Enterprise Services division of HP (formerly known as EDS). Working with executives (SVPs) and sales teams, I developed content for an in-house digital showcase, onsite digital billboards, microsites, and other interactive content for targeted pursuits and significant marketing campaigns/events. I also managed and produced dozens of innovative and creative sales enablement components including apps, animations, videos, interactive PDFs, presentations, and telestrations. I was also responsible for managing more than 300 downloadable files (e.g., white papers, solution overviews, etc.) through a proprietary digital asset management (DAM) system.During the complete scrub of hp.com in 2012, I directed and managed the content on all Public Sector segment web pages. The project included portfolio realignment, significant content creation/editing, negotiating and collaborating with executives and highly political influencers, interviewing SMEs, and simplifying content structure and organization.

Responsible for communicating various programs to 138,000+ employees, managers, and executives in 64 countries. Implemented communication strategies and content development for all media available including print, intranet/Internet, e-mail, events, video, and audio.Planned and executed executive global town halls and listening sessions (live events, delayed broadcasts, employee follow-ups, Q&A, and collateral development).Led communication campaigns for global HR campaigns supporting compensation, equity, benefits, recruiting, M&A, onboarding, and executive support. Communications manager for two major benefits outsourcing projects in North America and the United Kingdom that impacted 200,000+ plan participants.Responsible for initiating and directing efforts to post HR information on the EDS intranet in 1996. Managed most HR content on the EDS intranet and Internet thereafter. Conversion to the online information delivery model saved more than $2M annually in printing and mailing costs.Managed the rebranding of EDS Human Resources collateral and vendor-related Web sites.Appointed to EDS Global Intranet Advisory Committee in March 2002. Earned “GEMS High Performer” recognition for five years in a row (2003 to 2008).

Planned, wrote, designed and produced marketing and member communications for the Texas region of Kaiser Permanente, including its original website.Representative on Kaiser Permanente's national marketing communications council. Designed and managed a database and digital production tool to track quantity, production status, and usage of customized marketing materials for more than 650 employer groups. The use of this new platform reduced production costs by more than $600,000 in it's first year (50 percent of the original budget) and reduced production time by 86% (from more than two weeks to two days).
