About The Regional Diversity Roundtable (Rdr)
The Regional Diversity Roundtable of Peel (RDR Peel) is a collaborative network of local, regional and national organizations and institutions invested in an inclusive and equitable Peel Region. We are led and governed by a board of directors, a secretariat in a small hub located in the heart of Mississauga, and the consultative and collaborative partnerships we have forged with an extensive regional membership network.The RDR Peel and our network members, signatories and supporters of the 'Diversity & Inclusion Charter of Peel' are committed to building inclusion and diversity for a stronger Peel Region. We seek to build diversity, inclusion and accountability in order to promote equity within all RDR Peel-convened spaces, and to mainstream these principles into our member organizations' core values, structures, policies, practices, programming and services. We also seek to build and advocate for a welcoming, humane, equitable, inclusive, liveable Peel Region, GTA and Ontario, for the benefit of all residents and visitors to Peel. Our goal is holistic, sustainable and equitable social, environmental and economic development in Peel and beyond. Our work extends well beyond our close networks of 'Diversity & Inclusion Charter' signatories and RDR Peel members.
