I wanted to use my experience from HMC&E when I left the department. I was fortunate to be approached to deliver the International Trade and Service NVQ. I have continued to assess and progressed onto IV and then EV. Over the years I have found that the Customs procedures have not been in demand but the security and teaching experience that I gained has proved invaluble and eventually I started RDS Training Ltd.
