Promoted from the position of Lead Programmer in January 2001, responsibilities included directly leading and managing a team of application developers consisting of a Data Base Administrator, a Senior Programmer, two Programmers and a Data Analyst to develop computer systems adhering to customer requirements using the following application software: Microsoft Visual InterDev, Microsoft Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, Centura Team Developer, Microsoft Access, SQL Server 2000, Oracle 7-9 (including objects in the Oracle Enterprise Manager), SQL Navigator 3 and Tool for Oracle Application Development (TOAD); administering employee development, training, and performance/salary administration; work with business and executive customers on suggesting, providing, developing, and implementing computer solutions including but not limited to, the use of Oracle and TOAD to create, develop and modify Oracle tables, views and sequences for new development and business audit purposes, to create stored procedures, triggers and functions to meet business objectives; additional responsibilities included communicating with end-users, team members, and management on status of all projects on a regular basis; ensure all projects are requested, tracked, monitored, and documented correctly; develop and follow project plans to completion and in a timely manner, consistent with departmental objectives; evaluates proposed and existing systems by systematic analysis of their efficiency and design to assure performance within company service level agreements/guidelines; develops standards and procedures for the efficient operations of the programming/development team as well as for application and project development; perform systems maintenance and upgrades use the Oracle and Microsoft suite of tools on all applications as requested by customer and other business requirements.
