I am a product development engineer at Fisher and Paykel Healthcare. Currently, I perform testing to both investigate potential improvements for new products, and verify the performance of existing designs.I studied mechanical engineering at the University of Auckland as a recipient of the University of Auckland Top Achiever Scholarship. Throughout my degree, I gained basic proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, C and R, as well as in CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor and ANSYS Workbench/ANSYS Mechanical. Through past internships, I have also familiarised myself with Solidworks.I have previously worked at Aeroqual as an intern, where I gained valuable practical skills in the computer aided design as well as in research and presentations. Additionally, my time as a research assistant at Robinson Research Institute has given me the opportunity to work with real professionals in the industry, bridging the gap between coursework design theory and real-life applications. During high school, I held several leadership positions (such as school prefect and house academic captain) while also participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
