R.E. is an award-winning interdisciplinary artist specialising in collaborative media and concert works at the intersection of visual art and music. She is a primary Australian proponent of three-dimensional graphic notation and non-linear music, with their work on the creation and development of Multimedia Textile Graphic Notation receiving international attention and academic acclaim. A Fulbright Scholar and graduate of the Manhattan School of Music New York, their works have been performed throughout Australia and internationally in the USA, Canada, Germany, Greece, Japan and Singapore. In 2022, their visual art was inaugurally exhibited in Western Australia and is programmed for exhibition in Canada and Germany in 2023. R.E. is an active proponent of gender parity and interdisciplinary cross-pollination, creating works that surprise and delight, visually, aurally, conceptually and tangibly.A long-standing faculty member of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, R.E. lectures in composition, theory and music analysis, and is regularly engaged as an adjudicator and guest lecturer both nationally and internationally. She has mentored various new music programs Australia-wide including those presented by Perth Festival and Tura New Music.
