Ramon is currenty a partner in Legal Access Law Offices, an education-centered law firm which specializes in serving SMEs and family businesses based in Quezon City Philippines. Previously, he was tax manager for International Container Terminal Services, Inc.'s (ICTSI) Global Corporate Legal Affairs team handling various local and off-shore tax matters of the company and it's subsidiaries. Before ICTSI, he was Senior Tax Manager in Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.), a member practice of Ernst & Young. He started with firm in November 2006 as a member of the International Tax Services-Core unit. As such, he has handled a number of engagements ranging from general tax advisory on various corporate transactions, corporate organization and reorganization, inbound tax planning of multinational corporations, securing favorable confirmatory rulings from the tax authorities on the tax implications of client transactions, estate planning and implementation as well as tax audit investigations of the local tax authorities. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in May 2007 and is a member in good standing of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Quezon City Chapter.
