- Completed a full re-design cycle of the self-propelled Mars rover prototype “Moball” from structural research and computer modeling to rapid prototyping and testing- Solved a critical truss fatigue design problem by utilizing tensegrity internal structures instead of conventional bolt-joint structures. Resolution significantly improved durability compared to previous design.- Constructed a next-generation full-scale rover prototype and verified structural integrity and electronics functionality, therefore improving the energy harvesting system efficiency by a factor of 3
