I moved to 1st grade for my second year to get a feel for younger elementary. I greatly enjoyed my time with the first graders, and I feel it has broadened my scope and given me a more complete view of k-5 education.

I started training as an assistant teacher for Great Hearts Cicero in July of 2014, and began official employment on August 1st as a 4th grade assistant teacher. Archway Cicero broke ground in 2013, and it’s first academic year was 2014, with students grades K-5th, and a middle school with students grades 6th and 7th.

I performed grounds and maintenance services for the Valley School District as summer employment while going to college.

I worked as a painter during my senior year of high school and into the summer before going to college.
