• Generated instrument specifications and facilitated the associated procurement activities for various plant site installations or upgrade projects pertaining to the extraction of natural gas and the re-injection of produced water into gas producing formations in western Wyoming. • Prepared documentation for a major pumping station and multiple block valve sites for an oil pipeline installation in Canada, including satellite communications.• Developed the instrument tagging and listing approach as part of a team working on the front end engineering (using INtools) for the development of a large coal bed methane production facility in India.• Updated instrumentation documentation for a compressor station for natural gas well gathering in Colorado. Added a P&ID for a fuel gas scrubber, including new instrumentation data sheets, material requisitions, and instrument list updates. Performed on-site factory acceptance tests.• Prepared instrumentation data sheets for a tar sands slurry handling upgrade in Canada.• Supervised factory acceptance testing (FAT) events in Canada and US sites for Jacobs’ specified and designed instrumentation systems.• Served as a principal checker for electrical and instrumentation/control documentation pertaining to various projects such as: 1) control and safety upgrades for brewery packaging lines, 2) gold recovery conveyor expansion in Uzbekistan, and 3) a major oil refinery upgrade and 4) numerous other projects.• Served as a member of a site technical team at the Kodak complex in Windsor, Colorado. Participated in a Film Coating Instrumentation Upgrade to reduce waste, additional load cells and a position sensor were added to monitor impression roll pressure and position to promote uniform application. The system was located in a Class 1 Div 1 area requiring special intrinsically safe barriers.

Installed numerous process control projects for the San Diego plant site that produces alginates from kelp and specialty biopolymers from corn syrup. Power study research of site/facility to determine actual facility connected power loads. Produced electrical, control and instrumentation system drawings for various systems controlled by PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and two brands of DCS (Distributed Control System).

Responsible for the hardware design for PLC systems that automate water flow control at numerous multi-gate sites which are part of a large irrigation canal district (Imperial Irrigation District) in southern California.
