As a high school junior, I do my best to involve myself in a vast amount of activities, making new connections and developing relationships as I go. Serving as an admissions ambassador on our leadership team, I welcome interested parents and prospecting students to my high school, Cardinal Gibbons, giving tours and showing them how valuable my school community is to me. Behind the scenes, I am also the point person for ambassador questions. I have been a member of my school's student council for three years and have participated in the planning of our blood drive since freshman year. Serving as personnel manager my first year, I took on more responsibility my next year as co-leader of the entire event. Beyond student council, I'm an active participant in my school's debate and mock trial teams, appointed a witness role for this year's mock trial season. Coming out of covid, I joined the leadership team to restart our school's newspaper and am currently the head editor of our editorial column. Outside of school, I work as a babysitter and house sitter upon request where I cook, clean, and care for the safety of animals and children alike. At home, I use my spare time to create art, study Japanese, and aid my brother with his homework. No matter how busy I am with schoolwork, I do my best to make time for the things that count at home. Looking into the future, I hope to get a degree in marketing and possibly continue on to law school. As long as I'm able to express my creativity and build relationships, I will thrive no matter where I go!
