As a Political Science major at Texas Christian University, I am passionate about advocating for student interests on campus. I currently serve as the Speaker of the House of Representatives for the TCU Student Government Association. My responsibilities include validating legislation in accordance with the SGA's code, moderating meetings with finesse, and meticulously editing proposed legislation for precision and coherence. I have strong communication and presentation skills, which I developed through my previous internships and academic projects.I am on the Pre-Law track and am keenly interested in government affairs, public policy, and advocacy. I have also completed three internships in politics and law, working for the Nevada Governor's Office, McDonald Carano law firm under the Government Affairs and Advocacy Group, and Padfield and Stout LLP. These internships gave me valuable experience in legislative operations, policy analysis, and campaign research. I aspire to pursue a career in government affairs and public service, and I can bring valuable perspectives and experiences to any team or organization.
