During my time at BDG architects I worked on a variety of standalone and medium density housing developments. I worked throughout the various stages in these projects, from master planning and developed design, through to producing Resource and Building Consent documentation and coordinating with consultants and regulatory bodies.

I worked alongside Māori artist/ creative, Rangi Kipa, on various architectural and sculptural projects within Taranaki, providing project coordination and design support.

I was a co founder of MAU Studio, an interdisciplinary design practice focusing on socially orientated projects throughout Auckland, the Pacific and the Philippines.What originally started as a passion project while working full time, grew into a practice working across various fields (education, consultancy, design) and countries. In 2019, I committed to moving to the Philippines full-time to work with a local indigenous community with the design and funding of a new community centre, as well as the development a social enterprise to help them implement livelihood projects throughout the tribal regions of the Cordilleras, Northern Philippines.

I worked primarily on small scale residential and commercial alterations, and residential new builds, from concept design stage, through to producing council documentation for Building Consent.

Working between their offices in Nelson and Auckland, I worked on projects varying from house alterations and new build housing developments, to commercial fitouts and even a peanut butter factory! This last project, Pics Peanut Butter Factory in Nelson, is where I gained the majority of my experience, working on it from developed design through to construction. It was my role to produce all documentation drawings for building consent and construction.

I worked on the schools team at ASC architects; primarily focussing on MLE (Modern Learning Environment) projects from concept through to the detailed design phases.I was fortunate enough at my time at ASC to be a part of the design team that successfully won the Public Private Partnership (PPP3) Schools competition; which consisted of 5 new build schools.

I was employed by Unitec as a tutoring assistant for the 2nd Year paper Critical Studies 2. This work consisted of me co-teaching architectural history and theory alongside Senior Lecturer Christoph Schnoor.

I worked with Peddlethorp as part of an elective course to retrofit an existing potting shed on Motutapu Island. The work consisted of measuring the site and existing potting shed, concept design, defect detection and the production of initial resource consent drawings.
