- Serve as a consultant and liaison regarding the accessibility of digital material and services, including the university website and learning management system. - Provide guidance on digital accessibility best practices as they relate to the Americans with Disabilities Act, section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and WCAG.- Remediate and “tag” PDF documents so that they can be read by people with disabilities who use assistive technology to read digital content. - Evaluate the accessibility of instructional technology devices and software and make recommendations concerning best practices. - Review web pages for WCAG compliance and provide suggestions for accessibility improvements. - Collaborate with Student Disability Services to ensure digital accessibility accommodations for students with disabilities are being provided. - Develop training materials and present seminars to educate instructors on accessibility solutions to provide instructional content in the most accessible formats
