Michael joined during "stealth mode" as an early (<10 employees) member of the Senior Leadership Team at Wonder, the food delivery startup from serial entrepreneur Marc Lore. As General Manager and Product Leader, Michael built and managed the team through hyper-growth and scale as Wonder added over 1,500 employees and increased company value by over 600% through several fundraising rounds.General Manager, Wonder Flex - WonderX - January 2022 - July 2022After transitioning from a central to a regional operations model, Michael worked as part of the launch team for "WonderX" - the innovation arm of Wonder responsible for launching new businesses - as the first General Manager responsible for the 3rd party fulfillment business called "Wonder Flex." Wonder Flex exposed the Wonder delivery platform to third party independent operators who wanted to launch their food concepts through Wonder and capitalize on the products, infrastructure and customer network. Fleet General Manager & Product Leader - September 2019 - January 2022Michael was responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing last mile logistics and delivery operations from the ground up. Responsible for all Product development and operations strategy, which included all facets of building the "Chef On Road" (COR) organization, training hundreds of new employees, building an in-house maintenance and repair network, as well as central command and control of the field operations which leveraged custom algorithms for routing and fulfillment.
