We specialized in home and small business support including virus removal, hardware and software diagnosis and repair, networking, PC and laptop setup, and single server support. We also serviced Macs.During my time with Glick's I also helped multiple small businesses with their Internet presence, greatly enhancing their Web presence, increasing phone call and email leads to the business. Responsible for providing operational support to the Outsource Vendor Managers and Agents by receiving, prioritizing, researching and responding to issues received via email or phone, either internally or externally. Served as Methods and Procedures expert and liaison between Phoenix and vendor to ensure critical information was communicated and executed as well as expedited resolution of escalated customer problems. Monitored processes and identified call trends and opportunities for efficiency, call reduction and improved service. Provided reporting in Access and/or Excel as needed, worked on internal SharePoint site. Programmed a small Access database to help the billing department manage their costs which saved over $10,000 in one year.Acted as High Speed Internet technical adviser to client relations (called Executive Resolutions) department; personally handled the most difficult concerns for customers and saved dozens of customers from leaving the company. This was due to my ability to take complete responsibility while using superior focus, tech knowledge, and resource skills to resolve their issues, where others could not.Provided up-skill training materials as needed, communicated all current issues regarding vendors in a timely manner. Assisted in managing the relationship between Cox and multiple outsource vendors.Was instrumental in helping to effect a policy change regarding cable modems that was causing grief and stress among tens of thousands of customers when they were moving their residence to another location. Thanks to the policy change, moves went much smoother for customers and the policy change likely saved hundreds of people from switching Internet providers away from Cox.My loyalty to the company was unwavering and to this day (2020) I still recommend them to people that I know move into their service area.

This was a brick and mortar location where we repaired and sold new and used computer equipment, repaired televisions, and had a small video game room as part of the atmosphere. We also performed on-site computer repair and IT services for small businesses. My duties were the usual small business duties day in and day out taking care of marketing and advertising, customers, and putting out fires.I built the business's website and began to work on Internet marketing over the course of this time.
