Founder of Clear Sky Broadband. Company was an organic spin-off of Pro-tel Voice and Data Networks, LLC, of which I was a principal. Company designed and installed wide area networks for voice and data, provided termination of fiber optics, sold carrier services, and marketed Mitel PBX primarily to the hospitality industry. (Packaged as Hotel PBX as a service)Responsible for creation of business plan and private placement memorandum. Led organization in the start up, which provided broadband services to business customers, utilities, and carriers. Recruited and hired key management, sales, and technical staff. Raised first round of funding from angel investors and corporate partners to bring company to positive cash flow with the original network build. The company continued as Telesphere Networks, LTD as a MPLS provider and VOIP application as a service. In 2014, the Company was acquired by Vonage for $114 Million.

General Sales Manager representing the Sharp Copier and Fax line, Risograph Digital Duplicator line, and Panasonic DBS key telephone system line. Managed a team of 12 salespeople and 3 offices. Responsible for recruiting, training, and meeting sales objectives. Additional operational responsibilities included sales forecasting, inventory management and purchasing of new and used equipment. Compensation was based upon reaching orders, margin, and operating profit metrics. Implemented sales force automation with Saleslogix in 2005. Implemented a cost-per-copy program, essentially selling copies as a service increasing company products sold on a recurring basis from 40% to 80% of company revenues. Company realized an excess of 300% increase in orders from 2003 to 2007 while increasing its margins.
