~ Memory Care responsibilities included: providing ongoing Alzheimer’s/ cognitive impairment education, training, and coaching to all staff, as well as overall management of resident care and caregiver staff to ensure best practices and resident quality of life.~ Remodeled the approach of care from a staff-centered “special needs” program to a whole resident-centered therapeutic model of care through staff development and restructuring of activities, staff, and philosophy of care. ~ Operational responsibilities included: supporting the Executive Director and management team in day-to-day operations, assisting in the creation of the annual operating budget, conducting pre-admission state assessments, preparing initial individualized service plans, conducting family/ resident meetings, meeting with state and county agencies as needed. ~ Sales and marketing responsibilities included: developing and executing ongoing marketing plans, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with industry leaders, managing overall inquiry and sales process, managing all aspects of print and web advertising, hosting community-based marketing and educational events, maintained CRM and managed all aspects the admission and discharge process.~ Proven track record of maintaining and exceeding budgeted occupancy for a 114-unit assisted living, a 26-unit memory support unit and a 61-apartment independent living rental retirement community.~ Notable achievements included: approximately 300 hours of dementia care education provided to all clinical and non-clinical employees during tenure; occupancy milestone of 96% after 13 years of operation in October 2004; 99.5% occupancy in September 2005; a 70% increase in revenue between 2004- 2010; conducted a new development market analysis for White Plains, New York in 2008; developed and implemented an innovative community disaster & evacuation plan with all-staff in-services and preparatory drill exercises.

Contracted by Marriott Senior Living to provide quality assurance audits of the medical charts and individual plans of care for each resident of the 130-unit Assisted Living community to ensure proper resident care and maintain readiness for state inspection.
