I'm working to bring equity to Indianapolis by organizing the faith community in advocacy for affordable housing and end the evictions crisis.Experienced leader and strategic planner in nonprofit management, IT, and digital marketing, as well as a technology consultant, published author, and seasoned public speaker. As a trans-denominational rabbi, my focus is bringing equity and justice into all organizations. My goal is finding solutions that match existing processes. Sounds simple, but it's often the opposite of how the tech world works in part because processes are not clear or documented. After 35+ years in the technology world, I've learned that users often expect technology solutions to create or improve processes. It doesn't - it usually makes things worse. The Center shares its learning and knowledge with the worldwide audience through this knowledge management project.I'm the former Director of Information Technology for the Center for Congregations, Inc., a Lilly Endowment funded project serving congregations. The Center is based in Indianapolis with satellite offices in Fort Wayne, Evansville, Seymour and Crown Point.
