I always thought my dream was to be a women's basketball coach at a Division 1 university. Blowing my whistle, winning games, and teaching the next generation of women to be leaders didn't sound like a bad life and for a few years that is exactly what I did. Until I wanted more.And that's when it happened; I discovered that my passion was to encourage, motivate, and teach women how to really dare for more. I wanted to be a world-changer, that hung out with other world-changers, and taught them how to change their own world. Sounded too much like a fairy tale at first. But I started speaking and tossing it out there in the crowd to see what would happen. To my delight, women started nodding and getting excited. They talked to me about how they wanted more from themselves and from their life. But how? Was it really possible?Since then I can't get enough. Running Dare for More calls to all my passions; it incorporates my counseling degree, my creativity and problem-solving skills, and it allows me to speak, teach and write about how to find the "more" in life. As I have grown, I have stepped into deeper challenges helping women who are in crisis due to abuse, extreme poverty, and human trafficking. My specialities include speaking and teaching, writing resource material, leadership development, and global strategies for the rescue and restoration of women and girls. I am enthusiastic about building partnerships and making connections so that others can continue to dare for more.
