Hi there! My name is Becky and I am a Cyber Risk Analyst II at Victoria's Secret & Co. I have a wide variety of Cybersecurity experience from my time working in DoD and the Finance industry where I was able to touch on Information Security and Cyber Engineering.I am a graduate of the Management Information Systems (MIS) program at The University of Alabama. Throughout college, I wanted to serve as an advocate for women in technology and make a difference in the community. I became the Vice President of UA Women in Technology where I was able to create a scholarship for one of our members to attend the Grace Hopper Conference, the largest gathering of women technologists. Wanting to bring my passion into my professional career, I discovered Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS). I had the opportunity to help startup a local affiliate and become a founding board member of Women in CyberSecurity Northern Alabama, where I served as the Affiliate Vice President from May 2020 - May 2022. I currently hold the role of Affiliate Vice President for WiCyS Neurodiversity and will continue to advocate for intersectional gender equity in tech with emphasis on the advancement and retention of women in the field.
