-Work closely with manufacturing to monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of a plant to endure the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet customer needs.-Make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collect and interpret data from the other technical and operating staff involved.-Prepare reports, flow diagrams and charts to support -Conceptual designs and process development reports. -Participation in customers/contractor meetings, preparation of meeting minutes and action items lists. Quality-Define quality procedures in conjunction with management and operations staff.-Set up, maintain and control documentation procedures.-Conduct Internal Audits and participate in management.-Review customer requirements and make sure they are met by developing work instructions or procedures. -Cross training for all functions on quality standards.-Lead customer audits and generate corrective action to address and correct findings.
