Teaching English is my passion. I received a bilingual education from my parents (English-Portuguese) therefore from my early years of life I began the first contact with the English language. I have a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (German-English). I started teaching English in 1990 and since then my teaching experience involves children / teenagers (school programs) and adults (General English from no knowledge to advanced levels and Business English to professionals from various areas). My experience at General Motors broadened my horizons not only as a professional but as a person and a teacher. I have a great capacity to motivate the people with whom I relate easily. I'm very target oriented, with strong sense of responsibility, organization and initiative. Teaching English is always a challenge for me since the goals of my students become my goals too. The good results achieved by my students reflect not only a team work where each side has to contribute 50% but also my dedication and commitment. Working in the translation area has been quite easy due to the bilingual education I received, to my academic training as well as my personal experience and 18 years’ experience in the multinational company - General Motors. I learnt to be very goal oriented and customer focused. I developed a strong sense of responsibility , organization and initiative.I work very well in under pressure situations and I have a great capacity for self motivation.
