I managed studies from the Dept. of Public Health and Social Sciences, working with the oncology patient population. I ran studies from open to closure; organized and ran team meetings; delegated tasks and trained new team members; recruited and enrolled patients in compliance with CITI and HIPPA best practices; worked with oncology and exercise science clinicians; fostered relationships with internal departments and external organizations (ie. sister sites, universities, American Cancer Society etc.); ensured swift data entry and query resolution; prepared quarterly and annual study reports; some experience with study purchasing and budget maintenance; some experience with internal research audits; protocol writing; and study troubleshooting. Most recently I assisted opening a study on mindfulness in recovery from gynecological surgery on a NHI R01 award.

I led the oncology research team on hematologic cancers (leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma). I worked on Phase I - Phase 4 clinical oncology trials ranging from pharmacokinetic trials to quality of life trials. I managed protocol assessments; recruited and enrolled patients in compliance with CITI and HIPPA best practices. This often included preformed protocol related tasks such as QOLS, walking tests, EKGs, and vitals. I have some data entry with various EDC systems, but my strength is team management, communication, and patient outreach. It is my passion to work closely with my patients and develop a trusting relationship.
