This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining good working relationships with appropriate individuals within each payer and for identifying and ensuring Cochlear is in compliance with payer requirements. In addition, this position is responsible for facilitating the set up and implementation of payer requirements into the reimbursement billing software, as well as, educating the reimbursement team on the associated updates. This position will also serve as the primary contact for Cochlear's field team to provide tools, documentation and training to use to educate our clinics and audiologists nationwide.Provider Relations and Enrollment: Work with Legal Counsel, Reimbursement Billing Services Leadership and the Executive Leadership team as necessary to resolve issues that arise with payers, including billing jurisdiction, coding disputes etc. Develop ongoing relationships with contracted payers and act as a liaison to communicatechanges and resolve outstanding order to cash issues Research provider manuals and billing requirements to ensure denials for authorization or services rendered are fully understood, appealed if applicable, and communicated throughout the department Establish and maintain a tracking system/database for enrollment requirements and maintain Cochlear in good status with all enrolled/contracted plansSupport the Ongoing Maintenance of Reimbursement Software: Responsible for coordinating with the Reimbursement Analyst to ensure Billing Software is updatedwith the following items:o Payer fee schedule updateso Prior authorization requirementso Modifier requirementso Contracted payer changes (new or termed)o HCPC code updates**Full List of Duties Upon Request**
