About Rebecca Lin
💭 I am a deep thinker, active listener and a problem solver who prioritizes inclusivity and empathy. I dedicate myself to a human-centered design process, building intuitive user experiences that can be enjoyed by all.🎨 Only after deciding to pursue a career in design did I finally acknowledge my life-long passion for the arts. My artistic journey actually began back when I was a child, doodling with crayons and fiddling with a violin that was too big for me. Ever since, I have adopted various forms of creative expression (i.e., oil/acrylic painting, watercolor, erhu, taiko drumming, creative writing, and digital illustration), and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. 🌱 Forever a student of life: striving to learn and grow everyday.🎓 Having attended a liberal arts college, I was able to explore several diverse avenues—much to my parents' confusion—before deciding to pursue psychology and computer science. During my free time, you can find me doing a variety of random things including but not limited to . . .. . . playing PC/video games and getting jump scared by literally anything that moves 🎮. . . training to be a ninja 🥷—not actually, but I *am* a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do 🥋. . . sipping on a cup of coffee ☕️ while contemplating the important questions such as what's for dinner👋🏻 I've developed a love for collaboration and a commitment to user-centered design. If I am a perfect fit for your team, I'd love to hear from you.
