I'm a nanny with 10+ years of experience, currently living in Phoenix, Arizona but will be relocating to New York City late August.I began working with children as a teenager, working with multiple families who only needed help a few times a week. This pattern continued after college where I worked for multiple families who only needed part time help to create a full time schedule for myself. Because of this I have had the opportunity to work with children from a wide range of ages and backgrounds.Aside from my work as a nanny I have international experience that sets me apart from other candidates. While studying for my Bachelors of Arts I gained big city experience by living in Beijing, China for a year studying Mandarin. I have also lived in Argentina for 6 weeks and Spain for 6 months, and traveled around the country I was staying in.Along with Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, I’ve learned American Sign Language and am confident working with any family who is interested or currently using baby sign language.I believe I'm a good candidate as a nanny because I'm confident in being able to give the children my best care. To show them patience and understanding while also knowing when I'm being tested and help guide them to being capable human beings with polite manners and skills needed to manage their own emotions.
