I teach English as a foreign language to students ranging in age from 12-18 years old. The school's population is 1,500 students.

The main goal of the facility is to rehabilitate probationers by encouraging accountability and responsible behavior. I assisted by monitoring, guiding and advising the adult probationers in daily activity. In addition, I observed and examined growth through meetings with probationers and their officers.

I completed 600 hours of practical experience working as a school counselor under the supervision of licensed school counselors. During this time I worked with students in the areas of personal social, academic and career counseling. I worked with students both individually and in groups to process social emotional wellness concerns. I worked with students to resolve scheduling issues and assist them with the college preparation process. I also attended staff meetings, IEP meetings and communicated with parents frequently.

I provide counseling to children and their families within their homes or the community. We work together to create and implement behavioral health intervention services in order to maintain positive social skills.

I assisted the University Counseling Services Director in creating AODA education and awareness programming on campus.
