I am responsible for the organisation and supervision of up to thirty Team Members on shift. I contribute to the initial and ongoing training of staff and am responsible for upholding the standards of the Bar and the Students Union. I assist in the opeing and closing of venues. I am accountable for cash-management of bar safes and till floats.

Being a member of the bar team involves regular bar work, table service, working private functions such as music gigs, balls and comedy gigs amongst others, understanding licensing laws and working as part of a large team.

My main responsibilities included:- food preparation - delivering a high standard of food presentation - maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen - stock checking and ordering - organising other kitchen members
