As Southern European Editor I oversee writers and annalists across five countries.

• Compiling Payment Protection Insurance claims

• Coordinating and staffing academic field studies, including: crowd management in professional areas (e.g. The City of London, British Library) busy urban areas (e.g. Trafalgar Square, using the Underground as a group), and high profile professional institutions (e.g. Lloyd’s of London). • Efficiently performing the administrative tasks to organise field studies, including: writing risk assessments and itineraries, making bookings via telephone and email, compiling guidebooks for student use. • Providing administrative support and assisting in liaising between multiple departments, institutions, and field study locations. • Managing the department’s social media platforms i.e. Twitter, Facebook, and blog. • Providing accurate advice and assistance in a friendly and professional manner to the student population for a variety of purposes, including their independent travel ambitions.

• Coordinating assistant for San Diego State University’s academic summer programme at Keele University for fifty Californian education major students. • Liaising with various departments e.g. catering, university administration etc. to comply the academic requirements of the programme, as well as meeting the personal needs of the students. • Providing a first-port-of-call for student concerns and problems, and developing effective solutions. • Office tasks e.g. data inputting, social media outreach towards the students and Skype meetings with SDSU faculty prior to arrival, competently using Microsoft Office.
