For the Winter and Fall 2022 as well as the Spring 2023 terms, I returned to Sunlife in a new capacity! I worked within the engineering department in DevOps. My work focused on Java applications, improving efficiency and providing production support, working with Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins pipelines and additionally, taking on shift-left testing and technical documentation. Finally, involvement with DevOps coaching to support agile teams in integrating DevOps tools and practices. For my final work term, I began work with a newly formed team within DBTS aimed at developing automated internal services. Here, I independently developed and scripted APIs as part of the overarching team initiative to reduce application delivery times from approximately one month to a few minutes.

I'm excited to be a part of the MCAP for my second 4-month co-op position as a Jr. Business Analyst.

Starting out with little to no previous professional experience in market research analytics, I integrated my academic skills of research and problem solving into the role. Job responsibilities included creating competitive analyses, global scans, presentation decks, playbooks and market research.

As a co-op student at Comtek Advanced Structures, my work includes manufacturing and testing composite components for business jets and regional aircraft markets with an improved product quality and performance at better costs. Working in testing and methods, goals included ensuring product functionality and quality and improving worker efficiency on an ongoing basis.
