As a Yoga Instructor at Quinnipiac University, I entered a leadership position where I was responsible for creating a safe and inclusive environment, planning and teaching each class, and demonstrating poses while explaining the benefits. Through meeting a variety of people in the yoga studio, I have discovered that I love working hands-on with others, as I have been very effective in motivating and supporting others’ personal growth, as well as understanding how others feel.I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in Health Science Studies with a nutrition minor at Quinnipiac University. I have a strong passion for nutrition and dietetics, and I hope to use my knowledge of science and healthcare to work in a patient-oriented environment where I may provide personal care, medical attention, or emotional support. My goal is to apply my skills and gain experience in the field through a dietetic internship.
