As a Security Officer I have had the opportunity to do unarmed security in the form of foot patrol for A&T University in Greensboro, NC. Also for the same University I patrolled the inside of their dorm units before and after the school months as well as monitor their Human Resource department building. I've also operated a guard shack, monitoring the pick up and deliveries of supplies and heavy machinery needed on a construction site. This post was unarmed as well. After I qualified as an armed officer, I became part of the City of Greensboro contract that Lankford serves. On this contract I have patrolled by foot and monitored through camera systems, the GTA bus depot in downtown Greensboro, the GTA bus garage and corporate office, the City of Greensboro Cultural Arts Center, the downtown Library, downtown special events, downtown parking decks as well as perform visual searches of personal belongings at the City of Greensboro City Council meetings. Also I have had the pleasure of performing personal escorts to the individual City Council members, including Mayor of Greensboro, Nancy Vaughan to and from their vehicles during the scheduled City Council Meetings.
