    Returning to the Marshall Group provided me with a role which I was familiar with and I could work hard to fulfil the particular dealership I was employed by. I quickly made the role my own and was able to look at the wider services I provided, to play my part in improving performance. I again took the lead to organise the social events and Christmas Socials, booking venues, agreeing menu’s, taking orders, arranging transport and meeting specific individual needs. I was asked to work with Honda (bikes) to provide a display and exhibition in the Queensgate Centre, helping to arrange displays and staffing it for seven full days, interacting with members of the public from a variety of backgrounds, promoting the product and assisting with sales. I took ownership of organising a ladies night to promote products with potential female customers. I organised a number of attractions for the evening including cosmetic experts, manicures and arranged delivery of refreshments including a chocolate fountain. I designed the layout of the showroom, ensuring that the plan was adhered to on the night. I then acted as a meet and greet for the evening and ensured the showroom was returned to normal for the following day’s business. I suggested and organised a coffee morning in support of MacMillan Nurses who were holding a nationwide coffee morning to raise awareness and money for this cause. I sent away for the charity pack, sourced sponsored coffee and tea. I then encouraged staff at the dealership to provide cakes for the coffee morning. This was a success raising the profile of my dealership and valuable support for this worthwhile charity. I have taken on the displays in the showroom and offered alternative ways to show our products.
