- Manage assigned product groups according to the financial goals and objectives - Monitor each product group on a regular basis to ensure sales opportunities are maximized- Develop annual product sales and margin budgets for assigned product groups and relatedassortments- Identify and drive new opportunities to improve product performance for each category- Prepare financial analysis of each product group and understand the impact of the results- Report the state of the category utilizing financial analysis and any necessary documentation- Conduct Product Line Reviews - Review industry research to remain current on market trends- Negotiate with vendors as needed to secure the best opportunity for Lowe’s- Works closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Planograming and other support groups on a regular basis to optimize the sales initiative for the assigned product and further enhance customer satisfaction.- Consistently understand the product offering of all competitors in the market and the potential impact to Lowe’s- Identify and drive new opportunities to improve product performance for each category- Research the market place for new and innovative product ideas- Effectively communicate with Lowe’s store employees to ensure the needs of the customers are met - Maintain strong networking relationships with US counterparts to ensure proper leverage and linkage with the Lowe’s brand positioning objectives- Develop strategic partnerships with key vendors and nurture them through formalized meetings and performance reviews - Manage the ongoing performance of the Merchandising Specialist; Conduct the annual PDP process for the Merchandising Specialist.

- Overall responsibility for the development and execution of strategic inventory objectives essential to meet in-stock/service level goals in support of various promotional and merchandising programs- Supply Chain captain – set priorities within the supply chain team including replenishment, forecasting, and product flow to ensure business needs are met- On-going financial analysis performed on inventory positions, margin impacts, and risk assessment- Annual inventory budgeting at the product group and location level; monthly re-forecasting based on sales and margin trends, new stores, and planned promotional activity- Proactively identify budget variances and predict and communicate risks/impacts and recommend actions that will minimize markdown activity- Manage heavily promotional businesses through inventory builds and proactively identifying inventory risks while exceeding inventory turns and service level targets- Oversaw the new store setup for first 26 stores from a Supply Chain perspective, including vendor collaboration, initial order quantities, and inventory supporting grand opening promotions

Responsible for implementing the optimal logistics decisions in accordance with Lowe's service requirements, including channel determination for flow of goods and vendor performance management.
