Rebecca has developed a busy practice in all areas of tax law, including complex advisory work and litigation. The majority of her practice involves acting or advising alone, but she also accepts instructions to act as junior counsel. Rebecca has frequently appeared in the First Tier Tax Tribunal and has appeared in the Upper Tier and Court of Appeal. She was nominated in 2021 for the Advocate award for Young Pro Bono Barrister of the year and is a member of the Attorney General’s London C Panel.Rebecca has experience in matters concerning IHT, SDLT, CGT, VAT, challenging wills, taxation of trusts, UK residence and domicile rules, transfer of assets abroad and employee taxation (see “recent matters” and “cases” for more details).
