Rebecca Sidoti completed her undergraduate education at Kean University and attained a BA in Psychology with a minor in Fine Arts. She went on to continue at Kean University Graduate School of Social Work for attain a Masters in Social Work in 2016. While in graduate school, Rebecca chose a clinical focus in Trauma Informed Care. She accrued the required clinical hours needed to obtain the Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) credential while at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care Psychiatric Community Home for children.Rebecca has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and the aging in many settings ranging from school settings, residential settings and outpatient settings using an integrated orientation of therapy that consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person- Centered Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Rebecca’s techniques and approaches in therapy consider the individual needs of the clients and uses a strengths-based approach.
