We're independent, and charge flat fees for our professional advice.Some people might call me a financial adviser or an IFA, but I think financial planning describes what I do best. Step 1: I ask my clients what they want from the future. I encourage them to prioritise what's most important to them, whether that's doing more of what they enjoy, spending more time with the people they love, supporting family or achieving personal goals. Step 2: I give my clients advice about how best to have it all. Or, if it's not possible, to test out different scenarios to find a compromise or trade-off that will work. I'll use lots of different solutions. I often save my clients tax, reduce costs and improve investment returns. I also stress-test each client's situation and build in contingency plans, to make sure they would be able to manage if something went wrong. On top of that, I answer the important questions, like 'will there be enough?' Step 3: I make it all happen.
