As a research assistant, I explored academic journal databases to provide necessary articles for the completion of publications. I also scanned and organized reference materials for ease of access for professors. This work helped further improve my research and organizational skills. I also improved on my ability to listen to directions and clarify when necessary to ensure complete understanding of the tasks I was given.

Promoted active learning by encouraging students to explain and justify concepts in their own words. Created practice problems to gauge students’ understanding and to identify where to focus further study.
